Best Books are the nominees for the Sasquatch Award and the Windows and Mirrors Award. This is the list that will be used to Battle of the Books

• Sasquatch Award: WA state kids' choice award for 4th to 6th grades
• Windows and Mirrors Award: Edmonds School District award for intermediate grades; books reflect diverse characters, families, and experiences.

• ALSC Awards: The Association for Library Service to Children has a number of awards for picture books and chapter books, including the Caldecott, Coretta Scott King, Newbery, and Towner awards.
