The Lynnwood community is comprised of approximately 540 amazing students, caring parents, dedicated educational staff and a supportive administrative/office staff. We’re glad you are here as part of the Lynnwood community!
4 Core Values
Diverse Learning Community:
We are a microcosm of the world. We are committed to connecting all of our families to our school community in meaningful ways. We are developing our skills and awareness so that we can be contributing members of a global community that is increasingly interconnected.
Excellence in Academics:
Excellence in Ingenuity:
We are critical thinkers. We are inspired to use creativity and curiosity in our academic, social, and community responsibilities.
Excellence in Personal Character:
We are a peaceful community. We work towards making our school community free from bullying. We learn the value of respecting ourselves and others through the study of character traits. We develop and practice our understanding of being a positive force in our community.
School Schedule
Getting To and From School
Arrival
During this school year 2024-2025, all Lynnwood students will be provided a free breakfast and lunch. If your student would like to have breakfast, they may arrive at 8:55 a.m. Students who do not eat breakfast should arrive around 9:05 a.m. and are supervised in the gym. Classroom teachers pick up students and head into their classroom at 9:15 a.m. Please see our Arrival and Dismissal Procedures so you are informed as to how our community safely and efficiently arrives at and leave our campus.
Dismissal
Dismissal from Lynnwood is 3:55 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 2:40 p.m. on Friday. ((During Conference week, we will dismiss at 12:25 p.m.) We ask that families promptly pick up their children at dismissal time, as after school supervision is not provided. Please see our Arrival and Dismissal Procedures so you are informed as to how our community safely and efficiently arrives at and leave our campus.
Early dismissal
We encourage students to attend the full day at school. Every moment of the instructional day is important. We discourage early dismissals from school, and ask that doctor and dental appointments be made outside of school hours whenever possible. If it is impossible to schedule an appointment outside of school hours, please send in a note with your child letting us know that there will be an early pick up. Please allow time for you to come into the office to sign your student out and for the office staff to get your student. We cannot accommodate pick up of students within 30 minutes of school dismissal, meaning the latest early dismissal pick up would be 3:25 p.m.
School Attendance and Absence Reporting
